All of us here at IwanttobeSpock.com give a tip of the hat to Zach Quinto for landing the role of Spock in the new Star Trek Movie. He’s got the look, the charm, and the noblesse oblige that is Spock. And I can really see his Spock incorporating some of the ground work that I’ve laid out, leaving his wallet on the train, talking about the perils of bottled water, and dealing with the life long problem of excema.
That being said it’s not over. Remember how Hugh Jackman got cast as Wolverine? Remember how Ted Danson got cast as Sam Malone? Last minute casting changes are a reality and I wouldn’t refuse another role such as Spock’s gym teacher, Mr. Flannigan, or perhaps, Galapagos, King of Starfeet. More audition tapes will be forthcoming. Just you wait.

Here is a brief short film I made entitled Hmlet, Prince of Mars. It features some of my talented friends and me with no beard.
Here is my second audition tape for J.J. Abrams. In this short piece I present my thoughts on Spock’s pet. I think it would really add some human layers to this half human half vulcan.Thank you for all the letters I’ve been getting in support. Again, if anyone knows J.J. please forward him this website. I only got one shot at this!Special thanks to Lulu Wu for artistic consultation.
